Providing Services via Telehealth and In-Person to Illinois Residents
I know what it’s like to grow up in emotionally unstable environments, to silence your needs to survive, and to feel like connection is always just out of reach. My own healing journey is what led me to become a therapist—and it’s what allows me to sit with you in yours, not just with knowledge, but with empathy.
I’ve worked with a wide range of people, from children and families to refugees, trauma survivors, and individuals navigating cross-cultural transitions. I’ve provided therapy and support in multiple countries, in English, Ukrainian, and Polish. These experiences have taught me that healing looks different for everyone—and that the best therapy honors your story, your culture, and your pace.
My Approach
As a therapist-in-training under clinical supervision, I had the privilege of helping adolescents and adults make sense of their inner world, reconnect with their authentic self, and create healthier relationships—with others and with themselves.
Many of my clients come to me feeling emotionally exhausted. They may have lived for years with anxiety, depression, or a sense of disconnection without fully understanding why. Often, these struggles trace back to early emotional environments—times when their needs weren’t seen, heard, or met in a safe way. Together, we work to gently explore those origins while building the tools to live more fully in the present.
My therapy style is grounded, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. I believe real healing happens when you feel safe enough to be yourself, understood without explanation, and supported without pressure. I meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you discover what healing looks like for you.
What We Can Work On Together?
I work with people facing a wide range of emotional challenges, including:
Childhood emotional neglect, abuse, and insecure attachment
Complex PTSD (C-PTSD)
Chronic anxiety and depression
Social anxiety, isolation, or fear of being seen
Difficulty with trust, connection, and intimacy
Identity, cultural adjustment, and immigration-related stress
Family and relationship conflict
Feeling stuck, numb, or like something is "missing" inside
Whether you're facing current stressors or working through long-standing emotional patterns, our work will focus on helping you feel more connected, grounded, and empowered.

Ready to Take the First Step?
In our first sessions, we’ll work on building emotional safety and understanding the context of your experiences—your story, your pain, and your strengths. I’ll also offer tools to help you manage daily stress and navigate emotional overwhelm.
As trust and stability grow, we’ll move at your pace into deeper exploration and healing. I draw from a variety of approaches, depending on your needs, including:
Trauma-Focused CBT
Psychodynamic therapy
Parts work / Schema therapy
Mindfulness and strength-based practices
Gestalt therapy
Attachment-based psychotherapy
DBT and ACT techniques
Exposure therapy (when helpful and appropriate)
You don’t have to have the answers when you come in. You just have to show up—and together, we’ll figure out the rest.
How My Experience Informs Our Work
My journey to becoming a therapist has been shaped by diverse experiences, each contributing to the compassionate and comprehensive care I offer. Working with teens and adults as an intern in Chicago, IL, I've had the privilege of walking alongside clients as they navigated trauma recovery, explored their identities, and built healthier relationships. This direct experience in both in-person and telehealth settings has honed my skills in supporting individuals through complex emotional challenges.
In addition, my assistant teacher position provided foundational insights into early development. Collaborating with children, families, and educators, I learned how to foster emotional and behavioral growth from a young age, which now informs my understanding of lifelong emotional patterns.
Having the privilege to live and work in Poland and Bulgaria in social aid homes and mental health centers exposed me to a wide spectrum of human experiences, from supporting individuals facing serious mental health conditions like Alzheimer's and schizophrenia to addressing trauma and addiction. Leading group sessions and developing culturally sensitive interventions in these diverse environments deepened my understanding of how context influences healing.
As a volunteer in Warsaw, Poland, I helped connect Ukrainian refugees with mental health providers in their native language. This experience underscored the critical importance of culturally and linguistically appropriate care, teaching me invaluable lessons about accessibility and empathetic support for vulnerable populations. These rich experiences have been instrumental in my growth as a professional, strengthening my capacity to connect deeply, adapt thoughtfully, and offer truly individualized support to people from all walks of life. They have taught me that effective therapy requires not just clinical knowledge, but also a profound empathy and a commitment to meeting each person where they are. Alzheimer’s, schizophrenia, trauma, and addiction. Led group sessions and created culturally responsive interventions.

Offering therapy in your native language can make a world of difference—and I’m honored to support clients across multiple cultures and communities.
Outside of the office, I’m a naturally active and adventurous person. I thrive on exploring new places, meeting people from diverse backgrounds, and immersing myself in different cultures. I’ve lived in four different countries, including the U.S., Poland, Ukraine, Bulgaria and have traveled to over ten others. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for history, worldviews, and the variety of lifestyles people lead around the world – something that also enriches my work as a therapist.
When I’m not traveling, I enjoy staying active through individual and team sports, attending concerts, and catching a good movie. Social connection is important to me, and I love spending time with my partner – whether it’s out and about or enjoying a quiet evening in with a book and a cup of tea. Whether I'm exploring the world or enjoying the little moments at home, I believe that staying engaged with life helps me bring a fuller perspective to the work I do.
If something in your life feels heavy, confusing, or stuck—I’m here to help you explore it.
Therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating. It’s a space where you can come exactly as you are, with no pressure to have it all figured out.
Let’s start with a conversation and see where it leads.
Welcome! I’m Anna.
You Don’t Have to Do This Alone!
Have you spent your life putting others first, silencing your needs, or feeling disconnected from your emotions? If you’re here, chances are something in your life feels overwhelming, disconnected, or stuck. Maybe you’re carrying emotional pain that’s hard to name—feelings of anxiety, sadness, self-doubt, or a constant need to keep it all together for others.
You might be wondering why certain patterns keep repeating in your relationships, why you feel emotionally distant, or why it’s so hard to feel truly safe—even with people you care about.
You're not alone. And you're not broken!
I help people like you begin to understand where these feelings come from and how to heal the emotional wounds at the root of them—especially those that formed early in life but still show up in the present.
