Careers at CHPC

Build Depth. Practice with Integrity. Grow with Support.

Compassionate Healing Psychotherapy & Consultation (CHPC) is a trauma-specialty group practice serving clients across Illinois and Arizona via telehealth, with in-person services available in Chicago.

We are intentionally structured for clinicians who want to do meaningful, depth-oriented work with trauma, complex mental health concerns, and culturally diverse communities — within a stable, professionally supported environment.

CHPC is not a high-volume therapy platform and not a 1099 referral network. We are a W-2 group practice built for sustainability, clinical rigor, and long-term professional growth.

Why CHPC Is Different

There are many private practices hiring clinicians right now — but CHPC is intentionally different.

We specialize, and we work with complexity.

CHPC specializes in trauma and complex relational wounds, and we also work with a wide range of complex mental health concerns. We support clients navigating layered presentations — including trauma histories, attachment wounds, identity stressors, and mood, anxiety, and neurodevelopmental concerns.

We serve culturally diverse communities, including migrants.

We work with clients across Illinois and Arizona, including migrants and individuals impacted by displacement, cultural loss, identity-based stress, and migration-related trauma. We value cultural humility and clinical responsibility in this work.

We prioritize clinical integrity over productivity culture.

CHPC is designed to support thoughtful case conceptualization and ethical practice. We do not operate as a “therapy mill,” and we do not build our culture around burnout-driven productivity expectations.

We provide real infrastructure.

Steady referrals, billing support, and administrative assistance are provided so clinicians can focus on clinical work rather than business logistics.

We support your professional identity.

Clinicians are not treated as interchangeable providers. We support niche development, specialization, and growth in advanced trauma-informed modalities.

Our values are operational, not performative.

CHPC is anti-oppressive, LGBTQ+ affirming, and neurodiversity-affirming. These values are integrated into our care, consultation, supervision, and team culture.

Our Clinical Focus

CHPC provides therapy for clients navigating trauma and complex mental health concerns, including:

  • PTSD and Complex PTSD (C-PTSD)

  • Attachment and relational trauma

  • Religious trauma and racial trauma

  • Migrant trauma, displacement-related trauma, and cross-cultural stress

  • High-conflict relationships and recovery from relational/emotional abuse

  • Anxiety disorders and panic

  • Depression and mood-related concerns

  • ADHD and executive functioning challenges

  • Identity-related concerns and life transitions

  • Emotional regulation difficulties and chronic stress

Our clients often come to CHPC after years of feeling misunderstood, overwhelmed, or stuck. We support meaningful healing — not surface-level symptom management alone.

What We Offer Clinicians

W-2 Stability & Steady Referrals

CHPC provides consistent referral flow and clinical support to help clinicians build and maintain a stable caseload. Clinicians are not expected to market themselves or build a caseload alone.

Full Administrative and Billing Support

We provide administrative infrastructure so clinicians can focus on therapy rather than billing, insurance follow-up, and back-end operational tasks.

Clinical Support & Consultation

CHPC offers ongoing consultation and professional guidance. We value clinical rigor, thoughtful case conceptualization, and growth-oriented feedback.

Hybrid Flexibility

We serve clients across Illinois and Arizona via telehealth. Hybrid roles include telehealth and a consistent in-person presence at our furnished Chicago Loop office.

Career Growth & Specialization

We support clinicians who want to deepen expertise in modalities and trauma interventions such as:

  • EMDR-informed treatment

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

  • Somatic Therapy and nervous-system-informed care

  • Attachment-based and relational trauma interventions

  • ACT and integrative trauma approaches

  • High-conflict relationship recovery and relational abuse work

Compensation & Benefits

CHPC offers a structured W-2 role designed for long-term stability and sustainability.

Compensation is competitive and based on experience and caseload. Full caseload is approximately 25 client sessions per week once established, and steady referrals are provided.

Benefits may include (based on full-time eligibility):

  • W-2 employment

  • Steady referrals

  • Full billing and administrative support

  • Health insurance

  • Dental and vision insurance

  • PTO/ATO

  • Simple IRA with employer contribution after one year

We prioritize professional sustainability over burnout-driven models.

Our Workplace Culture
